Federal disability compensation (same in every state)

Property tax exemption
Missouri may return a portion of property taxes paid on a primary residence to eligible 100% disabled veterans through the Senior Citizen and 100% Disabled Veteran Property Tax Credit; income ceilings apply.

- Military Retirement and SBP Income Exemption. Missouri exempts federal military retirement pay and Survivor Benefit Plan (SBP) payments from state income tax. VA disability compensation is already federally tax-exempt; this change affects other military-origin income. Source.
- Property Tax Credit (Circuit Breaker). Missouri’s Senior Citizen and 100% Disabled Veteran Property Tax Credit may return a portion of real estate taxes paid on a primary residence, subject to income ceilings. Eligibility rules and caps are published annually by the Department of Revenue. Source.
